Ate lunch with a friend and both dishes were excellent, as usual. Strongly recommend this lovely pub for great food and service. One of my favourites.
Private function in the bowling area.We used the function room for a family members get together party. We ordered a cheese board spread which was fantastic and very generous, lots of lovely food. Bar was self service but was perfect for the occasion.We will be going back for some bowling sometime soon. Thanks

Booked a table for early Sunday lunch and was greeted with a friendly smile . Ordered drinks and lunch which both came quickly and were both delicious. Wolud recommend a visit .
Very good pub serving food all day on a Saturday, unusual for the area, most stopped food at 2.30...unfortunate when you want to eat at 3pm.An excellent paper menu an a really good specials board. Slight mix up with a couple of meals was rectified with no fuss at all. Really polite and helpful staff. The meat pies and choice of 3 types of mash and nice fresh vegetables. .the spring onion mash is absolutely delicious. Happily allowed our dog in...very dog friendly. Nice election of Everards and guest ales. Superb pub. You won't be disappointed if you visit. Nice garden and covered outside area too.
