Pool is the right length, changing rooms are clean, good showers, great people. Perfect.
The price to join the gym is just ridiculous. The changing rooms used to be separated male and female, but now it's unisex and people have already been caught taking pictures under cubicles. Only a basic pool now where there used to be a waterside, a pool for babies/toddlers and a big pool for lessons. Will not be taking my child there.
Absolutely mortified! Ive been going to these swimming baths for 20+ years and yesterday I can honestly say was my worst experience yet and has really put me off ever going back. Its 4.05 for an adult to swim now a days in what I can only describe as a very basic, very boring set of swimming pools. The changing rooms are absolutely awful, they constantly smell of urine from the toilets which are honestly vile and the floors are disgustingly filthy, with parents in and out for their childrens swimming lessons. I went into the pool played with my son and with 15 minutes left until the end of the session was being made to feel as though we should be getting out. After the session had ended I always use the showers which lets be honest are ridiculous, they dribble and are normally filled with lose hair everywhere but, this time I was not only filled with the usual lose hair everywhere but by a dead and live cockroach! I have never, ever moved so quick as I did then. I took my son out and got dressed as quickly as possible and most certainly got my refund. The lady at the reception was lovely and got hold of the manager immediately who fully refunded me and assured me I would be receiving a phone call within the next few days to speak to the main pool manager! Lets hope they stick to their word and get this hygiene issue sorted.
A great leisure complex. Nice and clean, excellent facilities to suit all abilities. Staff always welcoming and happy to hand out advice or help. I'm not a gym fan and need to attend due to my lung disease and this place takes all the fear / trepidation from coming Thanks
