The staff are all very friendly, caring and professional. Our cats are very well looked after each time they stay there. It's great that each cat pen has secure outside access. When they are there, we can relax, knowing that our cats are safe and well looked after. Thank you to all at Uplands.

We have been using Uplands Farm for four years now with our lively Labradoodle. The dog loves the staff and the environment and positively bounces in every time she goes there, coming home exhausted, contended and happy having been well fed, stimulated and exercised on and off the lead. The staff are wonderful, clearly care about the animals in their care and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would not hesitate for one second in recommending this place.

Cannot say about the state of the kennels as my husband dropped our boxer off (although he would've said something to me then if he was concerned) and my mum picked her up. But she came back visibly having lost weight, as did my mum's dog. Mum's dog probably needed to lose weight tbh (age 10) but I wouldn't say starvation was a good idea and I haven't seen her myself, just noticed our baby was exhausted and you could see her ribs (age 2). Our dog usually picks at her food whereas mum's dog, being a rescue, scarfs down anything she can get her mouth around, so when staying together I have to feed them separately and noted this on the registration form, but judging from the state of my girl I'd say they weren't fed enough or fed separately, so mum's dog lost less weight than my sweet boxer. Wouldn't recommend but can't say for definite as I wasn't there to pick her up or see the place itself or meet the people.

This is the worst boarding kennels I have ever used in all the years Ive had dogs. My dog injured his foot on the plastic bed they gave him that was so badly chewed by previous dogs that the plastic around the bed was like spikes. They didnt tell me until I Collected him and they didnt take him to a vet. On collection my dog was limping so badly I thought he had dislocated his hip. I took him to the vet straight away where he needed to be sedated for his foot to be examined. Cutting along story short 2000 later after a week of antibiotics and surgery on his toe my dog had finally started to recover after two weeks. The kennels stunk of urine and both my dogs did. The soft bedding I provided I threw out as it smelt so bad and to top it off in one week he lost almost a stone in weight. My dog is a 3 year old Rottweiler and weighs normally 47kg on the day I took him to the vet on the day I Collected him he weighed 41.1kg. They did pay the vet bill but I would have rather my dog not have gone through that and have looked after him properly.

Been bringing my dog here for years for day care and holidays. Always friendly and accommodating. My dog isn't dog friendly but they are still happy to manage him and he loves the staff. Reasonable rates, too. Wouldn't take him anywhere else.
