Great for any enthusiast. Lots to see vehicle and people watching wise to 4 for 24 hours parking after your first free hour
The waiting room on platform 2 is closed from midday
Clear signage and access to a public toilet at on-peak times. Good parking facilities and covered seating for bad weather. Station itself is made more amenable by the presence of its handy little coffee shop. My only issue is the lack of indoor seating outside of peak times - that station gets cold boy!
An attractive railway station with semaphore signals. Steam and diesel hauled charter trains pass through from time to time.
