I found Vikki's details online and got in touch with her having received a number of quotes elsewhere and not getting a great service. As our wedding (25th March 2017) fell over mother's day weekend, everywhere had hiked up their prices and weren't particularly pleasant when I had fed back that their quotes had come in over budget.Vikki wasn't feeling very well the first time she picked up the phone to me, however she spent as much time as needed talking through my requirements, what my ideals were, what flowers I wanted and what my budget was that she needed to accommodate. Rather than telling me what "her price" was, she worked around my ideas and came back to me within a couple of days with a quote.Before booking, I had asked to meet with her and she went out of her way to come locally to me for a coffee and a chat. Again, we talked through what could be achieved with the budget and perhaps what we could substitute with other things to keep the cost down.She checked in every couple of months, allowed me to pay in instalments as often as needed, met with me a month or so before the big day to look over the venue and confirm finishing touches, and a couple of weeks beforehand, emailed me with inspiring words, ensuring that I was relaxed and not panicking.On the weekend of the wedding, Vikki worked around us and around the other suppliers. You wouldn't have known she was there, however everything that was agreed was completed and she took the initiative to go off on her own to get things done.She attended the night before to ensure all of the flowers at the reception venue were in situ and on the morning, she attended again to drop off all of the buttonholes and bouquets. She hand delivered these to each party (bridal, groom's, parents etc).The flowers themselves were absolutely stunning and countless people have commented on how wonderful they were. We had a mix of white roses, blue eryngium (thistles), gypsophila and silver foliage. We were meant to have blue viburnum berries but unfortunately they were in short supply and the season ended abruptly so Vikki couldn't get a hold of them. Nevertheless, the finished products were incredibly opulent, full and beautiful, just as we had asked.I cannot recommend Vikki highly enough. Her craftsmenship is stunning and it's all done with a big dose of warmth and friendliness that we just didn't see from other suppliers that we had been considering.Thank you so much, Vikki, for making our big day so beautiful and special.
