Our second visit to Hawthorn Lodge and it was like home from home. So relaxing and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff in reception and the all the girls in the cafe are all very helpful and caring. We look forward to our next visit. The fishing is excellent with your own personal bankside spots. Had over 20 carp out, biggest was double figures. One of our favourite places to visit.
We have just returned from a two night break at Eye Kettleby Lakes, Fantastic caravan and motor home site, adults only, pet friendly, nice bar on site, shower and toilets are like your own on suite, immaculate, heated, powerful shower, even music playing.If you love fishing there are over five lakes but you don't have to be into fishing enjoy the walks, friendly helpful staff, only40 minute walk into Melton Mowbray, will definitely return.
Lovely site, excellent loo blocks, nice club house, friendly staff and breakfast cooked freshly was really good.Would have given 5 stars except that they advertise an adult only site and there are children running around the clubhouse. It was explained to me that the adult only applied to the touring pitches only. Children weren't a problem at all but I felt the advertising was misleading.Looking forward to my next visit though.
Amazing place, really beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The toilet facilities for the caravan pitches are second to none. Food is served in the bar and one side is dog friendly. Food all home cooked on-site and is totally delicious. Cannot wait for next trip!!!
Great fishing facilities, and an even greater touring caravan site. The toilet and shower facilities are second to none, they are the best Ive seen of anywhere. The big clubs should take a hard look and see what it is that users really expect to see. Excellent log cabin club house with breakfast available.
